Critical thinking journal entry #5: Henry Ford said, "Whether you think you can or you think you can't, either way, your're right." Write about 250-300 words for your critical thinking journal in which you, (1) in just a few sentences paraphrased from your source, describe who he is, (2) explain what the quote means and what it reflects about Ford and his life, and (3) give a specific and concrete example of this truth from your own experience or your own observation. (2 points)

Henry Ford was born on his father’s farm in Michigan on July 30, 1863. As a young man Ford was fascinated by machinery, he repaired watches and taught children his age how to build water wheels and steam engines. Due to his interest young Ford became friends with a man who knew how to build steam engines, because of their friendship he taught Henry how to build them. In 1879, Henry left the farm to pursue a career in engineering. Henry became an apprentice at a Michigan car company, and they manufactured railroad car in Detroit. In 1882, Henry Ford returned to his Father’s farm, and he rarely worked on the farm. Ford operated and service portable steam engines. In 1888, Ford got married to a lady named Clara Bryant. The moved to Detroit a couple of years after their marriage. Henry created his first successful car in 1896 and he followed up with to better cars in 1907 and 1913.This basically tells us that if we believe, we can do. It also tells us if we believe we can not do, we will not do.
