As a Child I cannot recall my parents reading to me. When I become a parent I will definitley read to my children. I feel it is very important and it promotes the use of brain functions at an earlier age. While in high school I can remember skimming text just to find the answers. I have not been taught any specific reading skills. As a reader, I enjoy reading action, Mystery, and humerous books. Besides reading I enjoy making music; I am a rapper when i have free time. I do not like audio books at all. Reading in my younger days was very important, because it builds our understand and reading capabilities. I feel reading will be very important for me, because almost every class has $100 dollar textbooks. I do not consider myself to have any reading difficulties.
